Lutherans Approve Gay Clergy

Sixty-eight percent of the 1000 delegates representing approximately 4.7 million members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America have voted to lift a ban on openly gay clergy who are sexually active. Congregations will have the option of hiring gay clergy who are in committed relationships while more conservative congregations may choose not to hire gay clergy.

It seems to me there is a liberal agenda being practiced, pray for the churches that do hire homosexuals.

I think that we all ought to pray for their deligates, as they are going against God's Word, and persons in leadership roles can expect far worse judgment for leading their sheep astray.
